Glorice Ann Pillow

Glorice Ann Pillow, 84, of Colonial Heights, VA, widow of D’Arcy “Pete” Pillow, died Sunday, September 2, 2018. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Irene Elizabeth Cole Pritchett. She was also preceded in death by her son, D’Arcy “Petie” Pillow, Jr. Mrs. Pillow was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church where she enjoyed attending Sunday school. She also enjoyed movies, plays, and going out to dinner with girlfriends. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her daughter, Cheryl P. Wells and husband, Michael, granddaughter, Cheryl W. Rutledge and husband, Jeffrey; great-granddaughter, Hannah G. Rutledge; brother, James C. Pritchett and family; sister-in-law, Dorothy Scriver, several cousins and nieces, as well as her devoted girlfriends whose friendship meant so much. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home followed by interment at Blandford Cemetery.
