Golda Shaw Sylvester

Golda Shaw Sylvester, 89 of North Prince George, VA passed away, Friday, October 6, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Clinton Shaw, and Sara Alti Smith Sylvester; and her loving husband, Richard Sylvester. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Thomas and husband, Howard; daughter, Sandra Burgess; daughter, Jane Jones and husband, Bob; son, Wayne Sylvester and wife, Sandra; son, D. Rocky Sylvester and wife, Connie; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; as well as, many nieces and nephews. Golda spent many years serving the Hopewell VFW Ladies Auxiliary in various capacities. The family will receive friends, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 820 W. Broadway, Hopewell, VA. A funeral service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
