Goldie Mccoy

Goldie Johnson McCoy, 89, of Hopewell, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nansen and Estelle Hall Johnson; her husband, Alva R. McCoy; sisters, Opal Overstreet and Dean Adams; and a brother, Jarvey Johnson. Mrs. McCoy is survived by her daughter, Judith M. Walker and her husband B.J.; sisters, Ola Mae Hawkins and Margie Smoot; brother, Jerry Johnson; several nieces and nephews; and a very devoted extended family of Delegate Riley Ingram Sr., Tracy Ingram, Stacy Hanson and husband Steven and their children Taylor and Parker, and Riley Ingram Jr. and wife Michelle and their children Dylan, Drake and Brinkley, all of whom miss her dearly. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
