Goldie Corine Perry

Goldie Corine Perry, 87, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017. Born in Hopewell, VA on March 11, 1930 she was the daughter of the late William and Edna Griffin; and was also preceded in death by her husband, James Helton Perry. She is survived by her sister, Linda Sanzo and husband, Joseph; a brother-in-law, Carlton Perry and wife, Lois; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Perry was a quiet, unassuming person who loved being with her family and friends. During her work career she was employed by the Department of Defense at Fort Lee, VA. She enjoyed many fun and relaxing times during her retirement. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
