Grace Howard Bishop

Grace Howard Bishop, died peacefully at home in Prince George on Friday February 3, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Florence Vernon and son-in-law, Ray Vernon of Prince George; grandson, George Dubovsky, granddaughter-in-law, Janet Dubovsky, and great-granddaughter, Ava Dubovsky of Glen Burnie, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Bishop whom she enjoyed 56 years of marriage with in Hopewell, VA; a brother, Leon Howard of Roanoke, VA; a brother, Edwin Howard of Villamont, VA. Grace was born March 24, 1922 in Hopewell, Virginia. Mrs. Bishop spent years working at State Planters and Pioneer Federal where she retired from. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hopewell Emergency Crew, P.O. Box 659, Hopewell, VA 23860.
