Grant Mason Wiener

Grant Mason Wiener, 61, of Chesterfield, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021. Born in Alexandria, VA, he was the son of the late Harvey Wiener and Miriam Wiener. He spent his adult life in Virginia, living in Staunton, Floyd, Petersburg and finally, Chesterfield.

Grant was a lifelong member of the Baha’i Faith, a universal religion focused on the oneness of humanity and knowing and loving God. He taught others about his beliefs wherever he went and even taught himself Farsi so he could converse with Persian Baha’is. His kind, loving nature was evident to everyone and he loved meeting new people. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing and drawing.

He is survived by his mother, Miriam Wiener, sister, Tahirih Fusscas, and her husband, Peter Fusscas, niece, Olivia Mitchell, and great nephew, Adam Ghazizadeh.
