Grover Brannan

Grover Cleveland Brannan, Jr., 54, of Petersburg died Thursday, July 07, 2005 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born in Hopewell and was the son of the late Grover Cleveland Brannan, Sr. and Hilda Curtis Brannan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a foster brother, Robert Dale Poole. He is survived by a son, Christopher Curtis Brannan of Dinwiddie; four sisters, Shirley Brannan and Hazel B. Kirksey both of Hopewell, Linda B. Newman and her husband William G. Newman of Prince George and Mildred B. Choinski and her husband Edward Choinski of Wayland, MA; aunt, Corine Curtis of Hopewell; and several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 11, 2005 at 7 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:30 p.m. Interment will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at 11:00AM in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
