Grover Rose

Grover Cleveland Rose, 77, of Dinwiddie, passed away suddenly on Friday October 23, 2009 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents James & Josie Wolf Rose and a daughter Teresa Leette Creech. Grover was retired from Hercules where he worked as a Lab Technician Supervisor for 34 dedicated years. He loved to hunt and fish but he especially loved his sweets. He is survived by his children; Greg C. Rose & his wife Shirley of Prince George, Robby D. Rose & his wife Kim of Dinwiddie, Ricky E. Rose & Jackie of Dinwiddie, Valerie R. Summerfield & husband Keith of Hopewell, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a brother; Denver F. Rose & wife Ann of Appalachia, sister; Ruby Parsons of Big Stone Gap, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Hopewell Chapel on Tuesday October 27, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday October 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev.
