Guy F. Beale, Sr.

Guy F. Beale, Sr., 81, of Matoaca, VA, passed away on August 28, 2024. Born and raised in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of Thomas A. and Mary Hazel Beale. He was known to those around him as a man who could fix anything and make the best pancakes. 

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy "Lou" Beale; son, Guy F. Beale, Jr.; daughter, Mary Beale; grandson, Keith Jankin and his wife, Misy; granddaughter, Kristen Hunter and her husband, Will; great-grandson, Arran; step-great-grandchildren, Breeanna Benson (Lucien) and their son, Lucien Jr., and Nikki Dias (Kevin) and their daughter, Everlyn; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-great-great-grandson, Griffyn Dias.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at North Dinwiddie Church, in Dinwiddie, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
