Hall W. Bigham

Hall “Bill” Wilson Bigham, 88, SFC, Retired, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at McGuire Veterans Hospital. He was the son of the late Baxter F. Bigham, Sr. & Ella Hancock Bigham. Bill served his country distinctively for over 23 years, in The United States Army Infantry.. He was a member of American Legion Post # 2, the VFW, the DAV, and the Sportsman Hunt Club in Ford, VA. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Doris R. Bigham; a special sister-in-law, Ingrid Lehmann and her family in Germany; sisters, Sarah Pauline Moser of Mooresville, NC, Lucy Pigg of Monroe, NC, and Judy Pressley of Wingate, NC.; brothers, Baxter F. Bigham, Jr. of Tucson AZ, James Bigham of Browns Mills, NJ, George Bigham of Waxhaw, NC, and Jack Neal Bigham of Chesterfield, VA; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Friday November 9, 2012, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
