Hannah Nicole Green, 17, of Amelia County, VA passed away on January 14, 2018. Born in Richmond, VA she was preceded in death by her Papa William Green and PawPaw Cliff Abney. Hannah was a senior at Amelia County High School where she was a standout softball player. She loved spending time outdoors, especially at the beach and lake, riding four wheelers, and hanging out with her friends. Hannah was a beautiful girl with a beautiful soul who left us way too soon. Hannah could light up a room with her smile which was brighter than the lights of the softball fields that she loved so much. Her smile was contagious because you couldn't help but smile when she was around. And we all loved her to the moon and back. She will forever live in the hearts and memories of all those she touched which are many. She is survived by her father, William Green, Jr. and wife, Tina; her mother, Jennifer Abney and fiancé, Frankie Villa; six brothers, William, Derrick, Alex, Chris, Sammy and Joseph; two sisters, Marley and Elizabeth “Lulu”; her grandmothers, Bobbie Green and Cissy Abney; her great-grandmother, Jean Bradley; two uncles, Jason Abney and Daniel Green; one aunt, Tracey Brown-Wilkerson; and numerous cousins. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Amelia County High School, 8500 Otterburn Road, Amelia Court House, VA 23002. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
