Harold Rodney Estes, Jr.

Harold Rodney Estes, Jr., took his final lap on January 20th, 2020 at 8:04 p.m. Rodney was born on June 6th, 1952 to Betty Jean Thomas and Harold Rodney Estes, Sr., in Burlington, North Carolina. He was survived by his wife, Shari; best friend, Buddy; father, Harold; children, Chrissy (Derek), Adam (Britany) and Tyler (Tiffanni); grandchildren, Daisy, Jonah, Reagan, Luke and Clara; siblings, Donnie (Margaret), Cindy (Catfish) and Debbie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean, and his late wife, JoAnne. Rodney’s passions included family, first, and racing, at a close second. He touched many people throughout the years with his robust attitude and giving heart. He had an abundance of great friends that surrounded him in everything that he did. We can all find sincere comfort in knowing that he had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and we all know that we will see him again someday.
