Harry Ambs

Harry Paul Ambs, 77, of Chester died Thursday, May 27, 2004 in Chippenham Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn G. Ambs; two sons, Stephen P. Ambs of Chester and Mark D. Ambs of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Ambs of Dinwiddie, Mary Christine Ambs of Chester, Sharon P. Kirks of Dinwiddie, Diane M. Ambs and Victoria D. Ambs both of Monroe, NC and Mark D. Am,bs, II of Richmond; two great-grandchildren, Ian A. Ambs of Chester and Breenden R. Pusso of Monroe, NC. A graveside service will be held Saturday (today) at 12 noon in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 12201 Richmond St., Chester, VA 23831.
