Harry Floyd Dunbar, age 83, of Chester, VA., passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010. He was born in Hopewell, VA, the son of the late Wilbert Preston and Mary V. Adams Dunbar. Mr. Dunbar was also preceded in death by his wife, Eva Barker Dunbar. He was retired from Dupont as a Chemist after 35 years, attended St. Barnabas Episcopal Church for many years, and member of a Masonic Lodge. He is survived by a daughter, Dawn Crowder Fiske of Richmond, VA; son Robin Glenn Crowder, and wife, Cathy of Waynesboro, VA; brothers, Edward Dunbar and wife, Dorothy of Roanoke, VA, and Tex Dunbar and wife, Vickie of PA; sister, Alice Goodyear of IN; grandchildren, Jason Fiske, Cameron Fiske, Stuart Crowder, Marcus Crowder, and Emily Crowder; great grandchildren, Alexa and Aidan Fiske; special friend, Dorothy Lovejoy; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
