Harry "Butch" Hinston Oakley, Jr., 53 of Chesterfield VA departed this life on Wednesday, January 18, 2017.
Butch is the son of the late Harry H Oakley, Sr. and Barbara Stables Oakley.
Butch spent his life behind the wheel of a truck and most recently had the opportunity to drive cross country as he explored new adventures in his career. People who knew Butch described him as dedicated, hardworking and committed to his family. Butch loved the water and could often be found near the lake just sitting and enjoying God's Beauty.
Butch is survived by his wife, Catherine Oakley; Children, Melanee, Celeste, Ryan, Tripp, Ethan, Hallie Anne, Olivia and Owen; Sisters: Sharon Oakley, Teri Lipscomb and Kathy Oakley; four adorable Grandchildren, Brileigh, Laylin, Aubrey & Bubs.
The family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 22, 2017 at J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home 3050 W. Hundred Road Chester, VA, US, 23831, where a service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2017. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
