Pastor Harry B. Pletcher, age 77?On October 3, 2005, God said, ?Well done thy good and faithful servant, you have fought a good fight, enter into the joy of thy salvation and eternal bliss.? He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Evelyn Aleksy Pletcher; daughter, Diane Coghill and husband, William; granddaughters, Lori and Alycia Coghill, and Jennifer Coghill Deckert and husband, Jason; great-grandsons, Joshua and Conner Deckert; sisters, Mary Lee Reynolds, Gerry Raffle, and Arlene Curstead of Hopwood, PA. Pastor Pletcher served as a Chaplain in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. In addition, he was a former Chaplain for the Chesterfield County Jail and was Pastor of churches in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and presently at Harbor Light Baptist Church, 5709 Jessup Road, Richmond, VA. He was also a member of American Legion Post 284, Colonial Heights. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, October 6, at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 West Hundred Road, Chester. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, at Harbor Light Baptist Church with Pastor Edward Gindlesberger of Burlington, NC officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
