Harvey Gilliland

Harvey Vance Allen Gilliland, 54, of Butor Road, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 in Medical College of Virginia Hospital. He was born in Petersburg and had been a life long resident of Prince George County. Mr. Gilliland was a past member of BASS, a member of the Petersburg Area Art League, a member of the Petersburg Regional Art Center, and was a retired operator from ICI Corporation. He was the son of the late Ronald L. and Virginia King Gilliland. Mr. Gilliland is survived by his wife, Doris Gilliland of Prince George, one daughter, Tiffany Gilliland Archer and her husband Brandon of Disputanta, a granddaughter, Wendy Nicole Archer, one brother, Ronald L. Gilliland, Jr. of Chesterfield County, two sisters, Pam Daniel and her husband Jerry, of Ashland, VA, Patricia Taylor and her husband Ed of Prince George, and a niece, Heather Taylor. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 22, 2004 from 7:00 to 9:00PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 23, 2004 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Jeri Posey officiating. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial park, Chesterfield County.
