Harvey Lee Parks

Harvey Lee Parks, 71, of Chesterfield, VA took his last breath on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Born in Roaring River, NC, he was the loving son of the late Samuel Lee and Lena Rose Anthony Parks. Harvey was the owner and operator of Harvey Parks Land Surveyors in Chester for 30 years until his retirement in 2008. He was the President of Griles Hunt Club where he spent countless hours with his buddies, all of whom became his extended family. Harvey aka “Da” or “Pops”, is survived by his devoted wife of 50 wonderful years, Lisa “Ringo” Karen Sine Parks; a daughter, Nerissa “RiRi” Parks Cash (Ray); a son, Aaron “Don” Lee Parks (Tanya); four grandchildren, Camden “Angel Girl” Parks Rendon (Luis), Turner “T-Man” Lee Parks, Noah “Big Man” James Parks and Nashton “Little Man” Levi Parks; one sister, Arlene Cheek (Leo); a brother, Norris Parks (Darlene); and numerous nieces and nephews. Because we know Harvey wouldn’t want anyone fussing over him, a celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Victory Tabernacle Church, 11700 Genito Rd., Midlothian, VA 23112. Interment will be private. His family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
