Hatsuko Raymond

Hatsuko U. Raymond, 66 of Dinwiddie went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, September 12, 2006. She was the daughter of Uto M. Uehara and the late Ryosin Uehara. Mrs. Raymond was a member of Grace Baptist Church, previous member of Okinawa Kai Club of Alexandria, VA. and a prior member of the Japanese Pioneer Club of Washington, DC. She was an avid gardener, loved yard work, loved and cherished her two grandchildren, was always willing to help others and give of her time and herself, loved her church and worked nursery for numerous years. She is survived by her husband, Darrell E. Raymond; son, Darrell E. Raymond, Jr. and wife, Delana all of Dinwiddie; grandsons, Alex Raymond of Chesterfield and Seth Raymond of Dinwiddie; numerous family member residing in Okinawa, Japan. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, September 15, 2006 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Grace Baptist Church, Dinwiddie with the Rev. Raleigh Nunnally officiating. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
