Hazel, Hartnett

Hazel Elizabeth Hartnett, 84, of Petersburg, widow of John J. (Jack) Hartnett, died Sunday, November 14, 2004 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born in Petersburg and was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Mildred Woodfin Miller. She was a member of Crowder Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister, Frances Demaris of Petersburg; three nieces, Brenda Glass of Sutherland, Jane Stewart of Deltaville, VA and Debbie Byrne of Richmond; nephew, Phillip Miller of Petersburg; several great nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph L. Elmore, pastor of Crowder Memorial Baptist Church, officiating.
