Helen Blake

Helen Hawley Blake, 99, of Chester died Friday, October 27, 2006 at St. Frances Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Edsen Hoyt and Mary Emma Cook Hawley and the widow of Harold David Blake. She was a member of Chester Presbyterian Church. Helen is survived by her daughter, Susan Blake Ritz and husband, Gerry Garcia of Chester; sons, Peter Douglas Blake of Moneta, VA and H. David Blake, Jr. of Chester; grandchildren, Wendy Ritz of Chester, John Ritz, III of Chester, Ty Blake of Jacksonville, FL, Chad Blake of Radford University, VA, Amanda Blake of Lynchburg, VA; great-grandsons, Canin Ritz of Colorado, Garrett Ritz and Preston Ritz both of Chester. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, October 30, 2006 from 6 to 8 pm.
