Helen Christine Cibula

Helen Christine Cibula, 92, of Prince George, VA passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John B. Cibula; and was also preceded in death by five sisters, Ruth Ouzounis, Wilma Kerley, Mary Evans, Virginia Mika and Irene Mirejovsky. Helen was a past member of First Czechoslovakia Church in Prince George and was a longtime member of Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder. Mrs. Cibula is survived by three sisters, Grace Cibula of Prince George, Mildred Kephart of Hopewell and Cathy Blair and husband, Don of Boiling Springs, SC; nieces and nephews, Jana Lesikarova, David Mirejovsky, Martha Ann Benesova, Mary Sue Treslova, Mary Jo Ellis, Steve Kephart, Jr., John Kephart, Susan Moore, Jeannie Underwood, Tim Tate and Rick Tate; numerous great nieces and nephews; and many great-great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Jason Cashing, officiating. Interment will follow in Prince George Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
