Helen Gallion

Helen Virginia Gallion, 98, of Newport News, formerly of Petersburg, died on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at The Newport. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Alonzo Gallion, Sr. and Mattie Marion Wells Gallion. Helen retired from Allied Chemical Corporation, now known as Honeywell in Hopewell, VA, as the executive secretary for the plant manager. She is survived by her brother, William A. Gallion, Jr. of Newport News, VA and her niece, Phyllis Andrews Leigh and her husband, Joe of Yorktown, VA. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, January 6, 2008 at Blandford Cemetery. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
