Helen Mary Landers

Helen Mary Landers, 80, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Prince George, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Emily Mikulcik. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Leroy Landers. Helen was a member a St. John Catholic Church. She is survived by daughter, Mary Simmons and her husband Gary; brother, Samuel Mikulcik; sister-in-law, Josie Landers; three nieces, Elizabeth Walker and her husband, Pete, Debra Salvatierra, and Joyce Collier; two nephews, Joe Landers, Steve Landers and his wife, Bobbie; two great-nephews, Dustin and Qwinton Shuman; one great-niece, Peggy Gregory and her husband, Rob. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9300 Community Lane Petersburg, VA 23805. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following at 10:00 am in the Church. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
