Helen Edgerton McPeak, 77, 0f Sutherland, passed away on Saturday July 4, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene R. McPeak 'her parents William A. Edgerton& Annie M. Story Bobbitt & a son Robert Jethro McPeak. She is survived by her children; Shirley McPeak Wells of Drakes Branch, Virginia, Alfred E. McPeak and wife Sheryl of Sutherland, Ralph E. McPeak & wife Vickie of Sutherland, Grandchildren; Michael A. Vertucci, Jr., & wife Patty of Drakes Branch, Barbara A. Bishop of Hopewell, Kathy M. Turnsek & husband Greg of New Port News, Jennifer M. Totty & husband Bo of Powhatan, nine great-grandchildren, brother; Clarence Edgerton & wife Betty of Sutherland, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home Tuesday morning at 10:00 am where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with Dr Ivan Perkinson officiating.
