Helen Hendrix Molter, 85, of Chester, passed away on March 3, 2015. Born in Coeburn, VA she was the daughter of the late Hobart and Nettie Skeen Graham; and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Hendrix; and second husband, Frederick Molter, Jr. Mrs. Molter was a member of Bermuda Hundred United Methodist Church in Chester. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn H. DeButts and husband, Jim; a grandson, Cameron Sweet (Dawn, Ethan and Garrett); a special sister-in-law, Eva Graham; and a niece and nephew, Mark and Kelly Graham. The family would like to thank special friends, Tim, Olivia, Tina and Darlene for their love and care showed towards Helen. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the funeral home with the Rev. Elizabeth Anderson, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Crater Community Hospice or to Bermuda Hundred United Methodist Church in Helen’s memory.
