Helen Nemecek

Helen Virginia Nemecek, 89, of Petersburg, widow of Joseph Martin Nemecek, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012. Born in Kingwood, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Jane Deavers Haney. Mrs. Nemecek was a retired employee of Allied Chemical. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Bruno and husband, Michael of San Diego, CA, and Janet Benton of Richmond four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren who affectionately called her their â??Deeâ?, one sister and two brothers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Cemetery with Monsignor Michael Schmied officiating.
