Helen C. Patrick

Helen Curtis Patrick, 99, of Chester, VA, passed away July 23 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Percy T. and Helen H. Curtis, of Chester, and the widow of Thomas W. Patrick. Helen was a graduate of Westhampton College of the University of Richmond, a longtime educator in Chesterfield County Public Schools, an active community and church volunteer, a loyal friend to many, and an avid reader and bridge player. She is survived by four children: her daughter, Dale Brown (Lou Enzweiler); sons, Thomas (Joanie), James (the late Cindy), and David Patrick (Theresa); as well as eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, husband, and daughter-in-law, she is preceded in death by her son, William; her grandson, Jeremy Patrick; her brother, Percy T. Curtis, Jr.; and sister, Constance Lyons.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Chester Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the church or the charity of your choice. Burial will be private.
