Helen Euldine Wall

Helen Euldine Wall, 83, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elma Brockwell Wall; and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Carwile and Barbara Poole; and three brothers, Richard, Bubba, and Everett Wall. Miss Wall retired from James E. Crass Coca-Cola Bottling Company after 28 dedicated years of service. Family, softball, and music were the loves of her life. Helen is a member of the Richmond VA ASA Hall of Fame and a member of the Virginia USSSA Hall of Fame. She coached the Virginia Belles Softball Club for just over 20 years. She helped lead them to sixteen State Championships and three National Championships. She also helped her brothers with the Antiques Band out of Dinwiddie, VA. Helen is survived by three nieces, JoAnn Hayes, Tammy Hawkins (David), and Sharon Poole; a nephew, Jamie Wall (Jessica); sister-in-law, Diane Wall; a lifelong friend and caregiver, Shirley Jackson; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Shirley would like to thank and recognize Linda Cox, Rosemary Osteen, Richard Shultz, and Barbara Ward for their help and support in taking care of Helen during her battle with dementia. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 103 S. Adams Street. A graveside service will be held on at 11:00 AM, on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road.
