Helga Katharina Gugliotta

Helga K. Gugliotta, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. Helga was born on May 5, 1936, in Sandhofen, Germany, to the late Karl and Anna Swecker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Francesco V. Gugliotta; and her son, Michael A. Gugliotta. Helga was a lifetime member of the American Legion Unit 2 in Petersburg, Virginia, and a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary in Pennsylvania. She was a loving, devoted daughter and mother and her son, Samuel and daughter, Barbara took excellent care of her during her last two years of life. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her. Helga is survived by her brother, Manfred Zwecker; son, CW5 (Ret.) Samuel J. Gugliotta; daughter, Barbara Gugliotta; grandson, Vincent K. Gugliotta (Jennifer); and great-grandson, Vincent F. Gugliotta. All services will be private.
