Henry Benjamine Avent

Henry Benjamine Avent, 72, of Chesterfield County, VA, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Born in Hopewell, he was the son of the late Jesse Benjamin Avent. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church and a retired employee of Wyeth Pharmaceutical Co. He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Gray Sublett Avent; sister, Betty Ann Avent Canoles; nephew, William Edward Canoles, Jr., and wife Sally; niece, Nancy Ann Canoles and husband Robert Mays. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home 820 W. Broadway Ave. Hopewell, VA 23860.
