Henry B. Gonzalez

Henry B. Gonzalez, 64, of Chester, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his residence. He was the son of the late Blas and Laura Baez Gonzalez. Henry spent 21 years as Roofing Supervisor at Virginia Commonwealth University and especially enjoyed his camaraderie with his co-workers. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Sylvia Gonzalez; two brothers, Blas Gonzalez, Jr. and Hector John Gonzalez; sister, Laura Lydia Gonzalez and special friends, Jerry Ware and Don Grenobl. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6-8 pm Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service with military honors will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the funeral home.
