Henry Hinton Harrison III, 79, of Prince George, departed this life on Thursday, October 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Hinton Harrison, Jr. and Elsie Pollock Harrison. Henry was a loving husband, father, and farmer, as well as a lifelong resident of Prince George County. He graduated from Randolph Macon College in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He retired from Brown and Williamson where he led networking their computers internationally. He had a love of agriculture, genetics, black angus cows, trying new foods, astronomy, history, and an interest in knowledge of all types. Henry was also a dedicated volunteer firefighter for 22 years with Prince George’s Company 1. Henry is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Jean A. Harrison; son, Henry Hinton Harrison IV (Lynn); daughter, Kimberly A. Harrison; grandson, Henry Hinton Harrison V “Hank”; sisters, Linda Gay (Jerry) and Karen Brown (Jeff); and special friend to the family, John Makovsky. Services will be private.
