Henry Page Hogwood

Henry Page Hogwood, 76, of Chesterfield, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014. Born in Raleigh, NC, he was the son of the late Morrison Albert, Sr., and Margaret Kate Page Hogwood. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Morrison Albert Hogwood, Jr. Henry was a proud Vietnam Veteran and retiree of the U.S. Airforce. His family was his whole world. He is survived by his loving wife, Mina Hogwood; two sons, Mike Hogwood (Susie) and Scott Hogwood; two daughters, Cherlynne Marable (Mike) and Hazel Dagley (Rob); nine grandchildren, Robert, Traci, Michael, Anna, Jenna, Katie, Zacharie, Carli, and Alexander; three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Jaxson, and Averi; and sister-in-law, Lita Hogwood. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 6pm on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted immediately following at 6pm. Interment will take place at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the ALS Association, 2800 N. Parham Rd., Suite 208, Richmond, VA 23294, in honor of Victoria Burton.
