Henry Harold Jandl, Jr.

Henry Harold Jandl, Jr. 90, a resident of Prince George, VA, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry H. Jandl, Sr. and Agnes Basl Jandl; sisters, Agnes Lowry and Betty Nyhart; and a brother, William Jandl. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Jandl; son, Henry Jandl III; son, Frank Jandl; daughter, Virginia Vess; grandchildren, Diana Jandl and husband, Justin Crumpler, Henry Jandl IV, Ashleigh Jandl; great-grandchildren, Ayla Crumpler, Sam Crumpler, Aria Crumpler, and Oliver Crumpler. Mr. Jandl served in the Merchant Marines during WWII, and then served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve during the Korean War. He passed away peacefully doing what he loved, working on his farm. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2018, at the Hopewell Chapel. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
