Henry Wesley Mccormick

Henry Wesley McCormick, 77, of Hopewell, VA, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019. Born in Campbell County, VA, he was the son of the late John Thomas McCormick, Sr. and Ruth Harris McCormick. He is also preceded in death by his brothers John T. McCormick, Jr. and Charles A. McCormick. He retired from the Virginia ABC Board after 30 years of service and was a former member of the Hopewell Jaycees. He loved to duck hunt and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his daughter Angela McCormick Rivera (Dan); two grandsons, Layne Summerfield and Mason Summerfield; nephew, Ronnie McCormick (Debbie); nieces, Peggy McCormick Teague (Clyde) and Jennifer McCormick. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
