Herbert Norman Hawkins

Herbert Norman Hawkins, 71, of S. Chesterfield passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Born August 4, 1949, he was the son of the late Norman P. and Elizabeth Mae Hawkins, and was also preceded in death by his son, Matthew Herbert Hawkins. He was a faithful member of Community Christian Fellowship in Colonial Heights. A man who took pride in his work, Herbert spent his life working in construction. He also loved all kinds of airplanes. He is survived by his son, Patrick Hawkins and fiancée, Donna Dryer; love of his life, Wanda Harrison; granddaughter, Jerrica Hawkins; three great-grandchildren, Lynessa Childress; Zackery Elder, Faith Elder; two sisters, Kathryn and Mary; and other extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Community Christian Fellowship, 1221 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. Interment will be private.
