Herbert Baylor Noel

Herbert Baylor Noel, 78, of Chester, Virginia, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2024. He loved working in his yard. He also loved fishing and watching the Washington Redskins. He was a retired painting contractor, who loved changing the colors, and remodeling around the house as well as he especially loved working on his 1994 Dodge Dakota truck. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, William & Pearl Noel; one sister, Dorothy Geremia; and two brothers, William & Alfred Noel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Teresa Noel; one daughter, Amanda Durham (Dave); two sons, Dennis Noel (Tammy) and Kevin Noel (Tara); four granddaughters, Cassie Lewis (Brandon), Kaytlin Durham (Kyle), Madison Durham (Trevor), and Makaylan Durham; two grandsons, Corey Noel (Brittany) and Ryan Durham; two great-grandsons, Malachi and John; one brother, Harvey Noel (LaRue); and three sisters, Edith Hinson, Lillie Brinklow, and Rosa Young.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., with service following at 4:00 p.m., at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Chester Chapel.
