Herbert Keith "Hoss" Pollard

Herbert Keith “Hoss” Pollard, 58, of Matoaca, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Eugene Pollard; and sister, Donna Pollard Poole. He is survived by his mother, Delores Ann Pollard; sister, Debra Pollard Dodd; brother, Raymond “Bubba” Pollard; longtime special friend, Carol Maitland; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends; and his faithful and loyal dog, Rebel. Hoss was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a former member of Ettrick Hunt Club. Hoss spent his working career as a mason. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
