Herbert Lee Williams, Jr., 64, of Prince George, VA, died Wednesday April 14, 2021. Born in Hopewell, VA and raised in his beloved Prince George county, he was the son of Herbert Lee Williams, Sr. and Gwyndolyn Lee Williams. Preceded in death by his father, Herbert Sr.; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Ruby Williams; paternal grandparents, Emmett and Gertie Williams; Aunt Dolly. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Lisa Williams; mother, Gwyndolyn Lee Williams; sisters, Laura Denny (Rick), Karen Perry (David); children, Herbert Lee Williams III (Jennifer), Melissa Owen (Rob); grandchildren, Herbert Lee IV, Jenna, Alyssa, Gavin, Lyla; best fur friend, Scooter; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He loved his Lord, family and friends with all his heart, soul and strength. A man of few words, “ha-ha”, you would often find him laughing, smiling, playing golf, bowling, going to a concert, riding his motorcycle, hanging with his friends and family at the ‘Taj-Mah-Coop’, playing in the dirt- ‘backhoe baby!’- telling a joke and yelling “Amen”. He was just an overall fun, loving and caring man! A Celebration of Life will be held outside at 6:00 P.M, Tuesday April 20, 2021 at Unity Baptist Church, 4951 Mt. Sinai Rd. Prince George, VA 23875 and don’t forget to bring a chair. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
