Herman Robert Henson

Herman Robert Henson, 93, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was the son of the late Robert T. and Minnie Reid Henson. Herman was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Lee Henson; and sisters, Alma Henson Vivas and Vera Henson Stancil. He is survived by his two sons, Bobby Henson (Tracy) and Howard Henson; daughter, Patricia Bloomquist (Bob); four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Romelle Eure (Worth); numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 3pm to 5pm, on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11am, on Monday, December 11, 2023, at the funeral home, with interment to follow in Appomattox Cemetery.
