Herman Earl Petzold Jr.

Herman Earl Petzold, Jr., 77, of Dinwiddie, VA, died Saturday, March 9, 2019. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late Herman Earl and Ann Jones Petzold. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Diane Nunnally Petzold. Earl was a huge fan of NASCAR and the Virginia Tech Hokies football team. He enjoyed fishing and was a lover of all animals. He is survived by a son, Earl Petzold, III (Eileen); a daughter, Kathy P. Frink (Steve); grandchildren, Kayla Petzold, Jake Petzold, Brayden Earl Petzold, Cooper Frink, Kasey Frink, and Colby Frink; a great-grandson, Camden Parouse; cousins, Russell Davis and Ben Jones; special friends, Robert and Becky Magee, Gene and Ellen Hamilton, and Francis Knott. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2018 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Blandford Cemetery.
