Horace David Bookman Iii

Horace “David” Bookman III, of Chesterfield, VA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 4th 2018. He was born in Richmond, VA on June 4th 1965 to “Junior” and Barbara Bookman. David was a hard-working man of many, many talents; and, everyone who knew him knew his fun-loving, kind-hearted spirit. David is survived by his two children: daughter, Danielle Cummins, husband Joey, and two grandsons of Chester; son, David ‘Braxton’ Bookman, wife Ashley, and two granddaughters of McKenney. He also leaves behind four sisters and best friends: Deborah Crowder, Dana Elmore, Belinda Crowder, and Elizabeth Powers, all of Chesterfield. David’s nieces and nephews: Tera Crowder, Brandi Satterfield, Stephanie Crowder, Taylor Elmore, April Gill, Daniel Elmore, Brandon Powers, Donnie Powers, and many more beloved a great-niece and nephews, cousins and friends will also greatly miss his contagious laughter and love of life. We will all hold his memory in our hearts until we are reunited again someday. A memorial service to honor his life will take place Friday, March 16th at 6 pm atthe Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
