Horace Clifford â??Redâ? Eason, 87, of Hopewell, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. He was retired from Strosnider Chevrolet after forty-two years. Mr. Eason was a member of the Lions Club, the Hopewell Moose, First Baptist Church in Hopewell, and the Hopewell Masonic Lodge. He was also an avid fisherman. Mr. Eason is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Eason; a son, Doug Eason; his parents, Lloyd C. Eason and Irene Millican Eason Snead; and a brother, Bobby Eason. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Mathews and her husband, Paul, Kathy Curry, Martha Eason and her close friend, Pat, and Paige Jones and her fiancé, Kevin; grandchildren, Sean and his fiancée, Misty, Paige and her husband, Jamey, Steven and his wife, Adrian, and Brandon and his girlfriend, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Sarah Morgan, Hunter, and Lucy; special caregivers, Ashley Light, and Shante Williams; and all the caregivers at Envoy at Stratford Hills. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bobby Lane officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Chester.
