Howard Walker Dodd

Howard Walker Dodd, 86, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired pressman from the printing industry, and loved fishing at the Outer Banks, NC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Dodd. He is survived by his son, Brian Keith Dodd and his wife, Debra; daughter, Susan Dodd Adams and husband, Steven; grandchildren, Timothy W. Dodd, Sarah Johnson and husband, David, and Tara Boyle; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Cody, Brittany and Natalie. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Friday, January 23 at the funeral home.. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Branches Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers are welcome or a contribution in his honor may be made to the charity of your choice.
