Howard Aubrey “Buddy” Morgan, 82, of N.Chesterfield, VA passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Edith Morgan. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Florence E. Morgan; sons, Butch Morgan (Robin), Jerry Morgan (Lisa); daughters, Gayle Fields and Wendy Morgan; grandchildren, Brian Morgan, Cliff Morgan, T.J. Morgan, Taylor Ross, Cameron Fulghum, Matt Campbell, Miranda Morgan, Jessie Sosa; great-grandson, Julian Sosa; brothers, Rudy Morgan, Dickie Morgan (May); sisters, Shirley Blankenship, Barbara Bradley (Melvin); and numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
