Howard Sidney Powers, Iii

Howard Sidney Powers III, 72, of Chester, VA, died August 2, 2018. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Donna Alcock Powers; parents, Howard S. Powers Jr. and Eugenia A. Graham.
He is survived by his daughters: Rebecca Lynch, Amber Brown, Erin Bordeaux and Erica Getch: grandchildren, Marc, Tony, Megan, April, Jessica, Meleesa, Michael, Morganne, Mychaelyn, Brandin, Joshua, Campbell; six great grandchildren; siblings, Genie Mayhew, Billy Powers, Chris Powers, Danielle Powers, Justin Powers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Howard retired from Phillip Morris after 32 years of service; he was a proud US Navy veteran. Howard was an avid boater, loved fast cars, and the outdoors, especially the river. In honor of his love of the outdoors, please dress casually (t-shirts and shorts are welcome).
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morris & Son. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park Cemetery.
