Humberto Ithier

Our beloved Humberto Ithier died on Wednesday, August 5, 2009. He was born on August 17, 1938 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He joined the United States Army after High School and served two tours in Vietnam. After his retirement in 1976 after 22 years in the military, he worked at the Hon Company in Chester and retired there after 18 years of employment. He was also a member of Crater View Baptist Church. Humberto is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Pilar Ithier; daughters, Maria Del Carmen Ithier-Hinton and Elizabeth â??Lisaâ? Josephine Feher; sons, Juan Carlos Ithier, Humphrey Ithier, and Jose Angel Ithier; grandchildren, Chanon Marie Ithier, Bergundi Rochelle Ithier-Bean, James Edward â??Beauâ? Hinton, Rebecca Shai Ithier, Jessica Lea Hinton, Amanda Renee Wells, Garatte Theo Ithier, Skyler Nicole Hinton, Darien Alexander Wells, Nicholas Antal Feher, Jose Angel â??Pepeâ? Ithier, II; great grandchild, Brooke Alexis Bean; daughter-in-laws, Sandra Ithier and Nancy Ithier; son-in-law, Anthony Feher; brothers, Anibal, Jorge, and Roberto Ithier and sisters, Violetta, Daisy, and Myrna Ithier. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, August 9, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 4 pm on Monday, August 10, 2009 at Crater View Baptist Church with Pastor Elvis â??Razâ? Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery.
