Iii, "Artie" Martin

Edward Arthur â??Artieâ? Martin, III, 28 of DeWitt died on Sunday, April 12, 2009. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend. Artie enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and farming. He is survived by his parents, Edward Dale and Gayle Raymer Martin; children, Brandon and Destiny and their mother, Lisa; sister, Elisha Crenshaw and husband, Brian and their daughter, Brittany; brother, Derek Martin; sister, Elizabeth Martin; paternal grandparents, Edward Arthur, Jr. and Alease Martin; maternal grandparents, Thelma Raymer and the late Glenn L. Raymer, Sr.; two paternal aunts and uncles; five maternal uncles and two maternal aunts. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Edward Arthur, Sr. and Minna Martin and Harvey and Mary Pritchett. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service tonight, Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the funeral home.
