Iii, "Bill" L. Petway

William â??Billâ? Lycurgus Petway, III, age 57, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2007. He was born in Richmond, VA, the son of the late William L., II and Ruth Davies Petway. Mr. Petway was a proud member of the VA Classic T. Bird Club and a General Contractor in the Chesterfield area for 35 years. He was a loving husband, father, and a great provider to his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Jodie M. Petway; two daughters, Valerie Dodson and husband Jason of Charlottesville, VA and Sharon Petway of Chesterfield; a son, Daniel Petway of Chesterfield; a brother, Morgan D. Petway of Mathews, VA; and a sister, Evelyn Luskin and husband Seigfried of Glendale, AZ. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, January 11, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. where a funeral service will follow on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, VA. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Odyssey Health Care Organization and to the staff of S.R.M.C. Home Health for the support and kindness extended to them.
